Iftar Meal plan for Ramadan

Iftar Meal Plan:

Before breaking your fast:

  • 2-3 dates
  • 1-2 glasses of water

Option 1:

  • Lentil soup
  • Grilled chicken skewers
  • Brown rice
  • Mixed salad (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, etc.) with vinaigrette dressing
  • Fruit salad with honey and yogurt
  • 1-2 glasses of water

Option 2:

  • Chickpea salad with diced vegetables and lemon dressing
  • Grilled fish with roasted vegetables (zucchini, eggplant, bell peppers)
  • Quinoa or couscous
  • Dates and nuts for dessert
  • 1-2 glasses of water

Option 3:

  • Chicken or beef shawarma wrap with tahini sauce
  • Hummus and baba ghanoush with pita bread
  • Fruit smoothie with milk or yogurt
  • Fresh fruits for dessert
  • 1-2 glasses of water

Option 4:

  • Beef or vegetable biryani with raita (yogurt sauce)
  • Mixed vegetable curry
  • Samosas or pakoras
  • Fresh fruits with cream or custard for dessert
  • 1-2 glasses of water
