A sample Sehri meal plan for Ramadan

Sehri Meal Plan:

Option 1:

  • 2 boiled eggs
  • 1 cup of whole grain cereal with low-fat milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1 slice of whole wheat toast with almond butter
  • 1 cup of water

Option 2:

  • 1 small omelet with vegetables (spinach, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers)
  • 1 slice of whole wheat toast
  • 1 cup of low-fat yogurt
  • 1 small orange
  • 1 cup of water

Option 3:

  • 1 small bowl of oatmeal with nuts and dried fruits
  • 1 boiled potato
  • 1 small apple
  • 1 glass of low-fat milk
  • 1 cup of water

Option 4:

  • 1 slice of whole wheat bread with cheese and tomato
  • 1 cup of vegetable soup
  • 1 small bowl of mixed fruit salad
  • 1 cup of water

Remember to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated during the day. Also, try to avoid caffeine and high-sugar foods, as they can cause dehydration and energy crashes later in the day. Happy Ramadan!
