How To Make Black Coffee

Black coffee is one of the simplest and most classic ways to enjoy coffee. Here are the steps to make a perfect cup of black coffee:

Ingredients:

  • Freshly roasted coffee beans
  • Water
  • Sugar (optional)
  • Milk (optional)

Equipment:

  • Coffee grinder
  • Coffee maker
  • Coffee filter
  • Coffee mug
  • Spoon

Steps:

  1. Grind the coffee beans: Start by grinding the coffee beans to a medium-fine consistency using a coffee grinder. You can adjust the grind size based on your preference.
  2. Measure the coffee: Measure out 1-2 tablespoons of ground coffee for every 6 ounces of water.
  3. Boil the water: Heat water in a kettle or pot until it reaches a temperature of 195-205°F (90-96°C).
  4. Add coffee to the filter: Place the coffee filter in the coffee maker and add the measured coffee grounds to it.
  5. Pour hot water: Slowly pour the hot water over the coffee grounds, making sure to saturate all of them. Wait for the coffee to drip into the coffee pot.
  6. Add sugar or milk (optional): If you prefer your coffee sweet or creamy, you can add sugar or milk at this stage.
  7. Stir and serve: Use a spoon to stir the coffee and make sure all the ingredients are mixed together. Pour the coffee into a coffee mug and enjoy your perfectly brewed black coffee.

Tips:

  • Use freshly roasted coffee beans for the best flavor.
  • Make sure the water is not too hot as it can burn the coffee and create a bitter taste.
  • Experiment with different types of coffee beans and grind sizes to find your preferred taste.
